Since the club can no longer meet in large groups inside, Ed Ray came up with the idea of having a Show ‘n Shine outside in the Redding Convention Center parking lot on the 2nd Saturday of each month. However, in February it happened on the 3rd Saturday of the month because of a conflict with the club’s monthly tour. About 30 classic cars showed up at 10 am. The weather was absolutely beautiful, especially for February. Terry MacDonald made cinnamon coffee cake and Cinday MacDonald passed it around to everyone. It was delicious. Thank you Cinday and Terry. At 11:30 am, we left the Convention Center and headed south to Happy Valley and PIBB’s Restaurant on Happy Valley Road. The drive there was beautiful. When we arrived, some of our members went inside to order lunch and the rest of us stayed outside and ate the lunches we brought with us. Everyone was careful to socially distance. At about 2 pm, everyone dispersed and headed home. It was a great day. Thanks to Ed Ray for coming up with the idea!
