The car show at Anderson Community Church was an outstanding success. It’s estimated that 50 – 75 vehicles attended. Thank you to the church members, including our own Tom Turkington and Harry Loder, who worked so hard to put their first annual car show together. They did an amazing job. Great food, great music and great awards. The tour after the car show was attended by about 15 cars. Everyone enjoyed learning about Cottonwood and the ACID’s historic aqueduct. We ended the tour with a lunch stop along the Sacramento River in Anderson River Park where we watched drift boats, kayaks, swimmers and lots of geese.
